Crime Prevention/ Shoplifting Patrol

Yesterday, 27th November, officers carried out plain clothes patrols in Streatham, focusing on tackling ongoing issues related to shoplifting. 

During the operation, officers identified and detained two prolific suspects, who were arrested at the scene. They have since been charged with the following offences:

In addition to arrests, officers also gathered further intelligence relating to several outstanding suspects linked to significant financial losses from shoplifting offences. This information will support further investigations.
